Edwin Kemper
Art Producer
My name is Edwin Kemper, born and raised in the Beemster, where I still live.
Started as a Window Dresser at HEMA in 1991 and continued part-time as an independent freelance Window Dresser and Set Dresser from 1994 onwards.
Since 1996, I started working full-time as a freelance Set Dresser under the name KEPS.
Over the past 29 years, I have had the opportunity to work in many different areas in the film and television world. As a set dresser, I have been involved in many commercials and in the beginning I also did a lot of television work, such as Bananasplit, Vakantieman and Expeditie Robinson. In addition to commercials, I also worked on national and international films and series, including Floris, Discovery of Heaven, Baby Blue, Fogbound, De Griezelbus, Pietje Bell and many others. In January 2010, I started at Jelier & Schaaf, initially as a Set Dresser, but I soon moved on to production.
In 2014 I became a co-owner of Jelier & Schaaf. I really enjoyed the production work, and that is what I love doing to this day, with a great team around me. I ensure that everything runs as smoothly as possible from start to finish and that everyone can look back on a great project and a wonderful final product every time, all within the stated budget.
